PRICE NOTE: Due to the heavily customized nature of my human subjects artwork, I won't know the price for your commission until we've made the plans, but to give you a ballpark idea, my standard size (8x8 or 8x10) watercolor paintings of human subjects currently run in the $1500-2000 range for 1-2 subjects who are not directly forward-facing.
PROCESS: Once you purchase a slot, you can send me some photos you think might make good references, and then we can begin to plan the artwork. I strongly recommend photos where the subjects are engaged with each other and/or an activity, rather than smiling directly at the camera. Please note: you must hold copyright for the reference photos; for legal reasons, typically I'm unable to work from professional photographs.
After we've discussed your vision and answered any questions we both have, I'll then send you a written plan/contract detailing the project specs, and when you sign off on the plan (including my standard terms/conditions), I'll ask for a 50% deposit (minus the initial slot deposit you've paid here).
TURNAROUND TIME: I can give you a better turnaround time estimate after I receive your photos and we are making specific plans for your artwork, but you can expect it could take 3-6 months to receive the finished artwork.
